Cause of the Problem:
  • Another Office installation process is running in background
Instructions to Fix Office Installation Errors :
Step 1 : Stop Background Installation Process
  1. Check for Office Installation Processes Running in the Background.
  2. Search for Task Manager in the Search Bar in the Start Button.
  3. Start the Task Manager.
  4. In the Task Manager menu, if you find that either IntegratedOffice.exe or OfficeclickTorun.exe then another Installation Process is running.
  5. Click on IntegratedOffice.exe or OfficeclickTorun.exe, and then click End Task.
  6. Restart your computer, and try the installation. If the Installation fails go to Step 2.
Step 2 : Clean & Fix the Registries Using Fix It

  3. If the Fix it worked to remove Office, you'll need to reinstall Office now.
  4. Sign in to your account page, and click on the Install button to reinstall Office on the same PC.
  5. If you purchased Office with a DVD, use the DVD and product key that came in the product packaging to reinstall it.
